Meeting Dates

The Gatesville Town Board meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30pm in the Town Hall at 127 Main Street, Gatesville, NC (adjacent to the Gatesville Fire Department).

All meetings are open to the public. To speak during the Public Comment period, you must sign up no later than Monday before the meeting by emailing info@gatesville.org or completing the Contact Us form on this website. 

The Town of Gatesville CAMA Land Use Plan is scheduled for public hearing on February 5, 2025. The Planning Board will meet at 6:30 PM for review and recommendation to the Town Council for adoption of the plan. The meetings will be held at the Gatesville Town Hall, 127 Main Street, Gatesville, NC. Be sure to check out the CAMA Land Use Plan page for the full draft plan! 

Curbside trash container pickup for Gatesville is every week on Tuesday.

Curbside recycle container pickup for Gatesville is every 2 weeks on Thursday. except New Years Day . Pickup will be on Friday

Street maintenance provided by the town of Gatesville includes repair services for:

• sidewalks 
• curbs and gutters
• side ditches 
• shoulders
• street sweeping

The town of Gatesville is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, repair, replacement, removal, modification, inspection and condition of all the streetlights within the town of Gatesville.
